  81. FreeBSD ports is slow because programs are compiled from source. pkg_add is faster by downloading binaries. I didn't know the difference.

  99. #NDNFD The only cross-platform (linux, FreeBSD, Mac) way of sending and receiving Ethernet frames is libpcap.

  100. #NDNFD Ethernet unicast is working on both linux and FreeBSD. libpcap is so nice that I don't need to program AF_PACKET and BPF separately.
