  33. Raspbian Stretch has no OpenCV for Python 3. It took me 15 hours on @Scaleway to build backport packages. I guess it would need several days on the Pi Zero.

    • Then I realize that I built 66 ARM64 packages while the Pi Zero wants armhf packages. I’ll have to build them again.

    • Another overnight build results in 66 armhf packages. Pi Zero rejects them with “illegal instruction”. Pi Zero is armv6 but Scaleway machines are armv7.

  49. I started the long process of building OpenCV 3 on the Pi Zero itself.
    Pi Zero has only 512MB memory, so I added 1GB swapfile on a USB drive, and stopped GUI.
    I hope this will work, but it'll take a few days.

    • OpenCV 3 build failed on the Pi Zero after 56 hours.
